Where it all began
Chief Pitmaster Adam grew up in Perth, Australia surrounded by family, food and fun times. Almost every event had some sort of bbq food as part of the celebration. Even their council tax contributed to the use of free bbq’s at public places. Often, a common family occurrence growing up would be homework, a quick surf and then a bbq at the beach.
After living a fairly fun lifestyle working as a gym instructor, lifeguard and completing his Bachelor of Science, Adam thought life in Australia was ace. He grew up immersed in the chilled vibes Australia provides. Later, as a real adult, he worked in the mining and property industries, all while still enhancing his BBQ’ing skills and catering for those around him.
Family is Key
Adam, from an early age, was exposed to a variety of cooking techniques. Many of his family members took pride in teaching him their own special talents. As a company, The Aussie Smoker Ltd proudly utilises these tried and tested family recipes. These recipes have now travelled generations and continents to end up here in the UK for you to enjoy. On one of his adventures, Adam met a beautiful English girl and his life would change forever. They lived in Perth for many years before making the journey to live in Cornwall, UK and have a family of their own.
